This weekend was full of diversity. First off everyone for a day turned their eyes back to golf. Would Tiger Woods win his first major since 2008, would Jordan Speith go back-to-back? In the end it was neither with the Italian Molinari taking home the claret jug as the first Italian to win a golf major event. The pirates have been making teams walk the plank and putting pressure on the NL Central as a legimate contender once again. How about another Itaian? Up and coming tennis star Fabio (no not the guy from the comercials) Fognini won the Swedish open in stylish fashion. The Swedish offered him an endorsement to be the new Fabio, he declined. British Lewis Hamilton is taking the high class Formula 1 standings over with Mercedes by a win at the German Grand Prix, fitting. Finally Sue Bird is the embodiment of consistency that we have not seen since the likes of Cal Ripken Jr. and Brett Farve.
