Monday – 5 Catalysts in the MLB playoff race


Matt Chapman – A’s 3B – Matt is the best defender in the MLB this year and along with that elite defense his bat is getting hot too, his OPS is over 1.100 over the past 30 games


the Jays are not in the playoff hunt right now but Kendrys Morales is chasing history, if he hits a home run next game he will Tie Ken Griffey Jr and Barry Bonds for most consecutive games homered in.


Manny Machado – SS Dodgers – The Dodgers huge acquisition has to perform well if they hope to make the playoffs. He has 5 homers and 12 RBIS in the last 15 games. 


Matt Carpenter – STL 1B – Matt has jump started a quiet offense since the all star break with one of the best second half performances in recent history. with 9 HR and 18 RBIs in the last 30 games there seems to be no end in sight.


Mike Moustakas – 3B Brewers – The Brew Crews big pickup over the trade deadline will need to pick things up if the Brewers want to make the playoffs for a second year in a row. Mike is batting .192 over the last 7 games.
