Fantasy Fridays – 5 undrafted players that are now ranked top 5

Jarid Goff – Goff currently ranked #3 quarterback, no one thought that Goff would be one of the top QBs in the league. If you saw how he played at Cal you would agree with his current rank.

Patrick Mahomes – The much hyped chiefs QB has not disappointed. He has the #1 rank in most leagues.

Calvin Ridley – The number 1 receiver is not Julio. It is in fact Calvin Ridley. The Falcons love their Alabama receivers.

Eric Ebron – Most left Eric on the waiver wire. He’s #3 ranked right now.

George Kittle – Some had predictions he would do ok this year but I do not think anyone had him in his top 5.

Friday – Top 5 Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 3

L murray
Murray – With Cook out for Week 3 Murray will get you 10-25 points, no brainer.

Giovanny Bernard – He is a short term rental for Mixon who is out for 2-4 weeks. In my opinion he will get you anywhere from 7-16 points every week with a small chance he gets into the 20’s with his pass catching skills.

Kelaan Cole – If you watched the game and gave Cole the eye test, he will be showing up for the rest of the season and putting up big fantasy numbers. Bortles is passing downfield this year and Cole is up to the challenge.

John Brown – He is consistent double digit 10-18 points per week. The dream flex player for any team.

Ryan Fitzpatrick – Most people left him on the waivers because of Jameis, now most people will leave Jameis on the Waivers because of Fitzmagic. If he is available please get him and thank me later.

International Thursday – A look into La Liga

#1 – Barcalona – Messi. Need I say more? Barca so far in Laliga is undefeated without even a draw. They look to keep the dominance until the next meeting with Real Madrid.

#2 Real Madrid – The Fly Emirates boys have showed up so far this year in Laliga, the only blemish they have is a draw so far. They are looking to knock off Barca on the top of the list in the coming weeks.

#3 Celta Vigo – The legendary club Celta has emerged as a Cadidate to upset the giants of Barca and Real Madrid. Their 2-1-1 and +2 GD ranks them high as a contender so far this year.

# 4 Espanyol FC – The other Barcelona club has emerged in the top 5 with a respectible 2-1-1 stat line, if team work is the trait of a championship club they stand a good chance.

Getafe FC – This club has stayed as a dark horse in Laliga this year with a bad GD but a 2-1-1 record line. They will look to dethrown one of the big boys to gain some recognition.

Wednesday – NBA breakout candidates

Jason Tatum – Roaring onto the NBA scene at just 19, Tatum modeling his game after Kobe is well positioned to have a big breakout year. Plus he’s from St. Louis, which immediately boosts his value. #Cardinalplug

Fred Vanvleet – He was the star guard of the Raptors bench last year, and with 15 PPG he is poised to have a Monster year in Toronto.

LAURI MARKKANEN – The young bull with a beyond the arc potential shot 37% last year and has had many comparisons to Porzingis. Watch out for “The Finnisher”

Montrezel Hurrel – The new face of the clippers has developed into a Deandre Jordan style player, he has all kinds of intangibles he does well from Defense to pick and roll skills.

Jamaal Murray – Developing in his sophmore year, he ranked 5th all time in the NBA in improvement of overall shooting percentage. If he continues this improvement he will be a ALL NBA sleeper.

Tuesday – Mack truck, Ninjas and absolute tragedy.

Khalil Mack – Has brought a mediocre Bears defense and taken them to the next level, not only is he dominating on a national level

Josh Gordon to the Patriots – If Brady and Co can wrangle Josh Gordon’s off the field problems, does Brady have the next Moss combination?

Christian Yelich – As much as this guy annoys me because I am a Cardinals fan, he hit his second cycle of the season on Monday, and therefore deserves my respect and possibly the MVP vote.

Tyler Blevins making headline again as the first gamer to ever appear on the cover of the ESPN magazine. I am in full support of this guy and I hope that he stays grounded and continues to dominate the sport.

An absolute horrible development as Big 12 Golfing Champion Barquin Arozamena was found assaulted and dead on a golf course in Iowa. They have a suspect in custody. We are all praying for Hawkeye Nation as they mourn this loss.

Monday – NFL and MLB weekend warriors

Ryan Fitzpatrick
One of my favorite stories from this weekend is Ryan Fitzpatrick. I am trying to pick him up in every league in Fantasy Football. With his second 4+ touchdown game, Fitzy is securing the starting QB job in Tampa Bay.

Oakland Raiders v Denver Broncos
Patrick Lindsey – One of the most unexpected running back outbreaks of the season Lindsey is poised to be the next great Denver running back leaving Freeman owners in shambles.

Fransisco Lindor and the Cleveland Indians have secured the first division title in the MLB with a very mediocre winning percentage of .557. All of Cleveland is thanking the rest of the American league central for their service, as the closest team is the Twins with a .460 winning percentage.

JD Martinez  and the Boston Red Sox secured the first playoff spot even before the Indians got it. They project to be one of the winning-est teams in MLB history.

We are going to watch the rest of the season closely but when the St. Louis Cardinals season looked to be all but lost after dropping three in a row against the Dodgers, in comes Adam Wainwright, plagued with injuries and doubters within the Cardinals and MLB writers alike. Most thought this game was just to please the Cardinals fans that wanted to see the Veteran pitch. All of that could not be further from the truth, Adam showed the heart of a warrior and brought the Cardinals out of the pit and the offense responded. If the Cardinals win a championship you can look back to Sunday night as the catalyst.

Be a gamer!

Fantasy Friday – Top buy low candidates for Week 1

Aaron Jones – With one more week of suspension, Aaron is Green Bay’s most talented running back and with Rodgers slightly injured he would be a good pickup from a GM that is stashing that needs someone else.

Chris Hogan – Other than Gronk he is Brady’s most reliable receiver, and he had a bad game last week.

Devin Funchess – He holds the highest target share of anyone on the Panthers, He also bad a low scoring game week 1.

Corey Davis – Just take a look at how many times he was targeted. he’s definitely worth a buy low trade.

Post 45
Trey Burton – Once he get’s in sync with Mitch, watch out.

A surprising Premiere league team who is currently 4-0 is Watford, we will continue to watch them and see if they hold up against some of the bigger teams in the league.
